[Review] Something Reckless by Lexi Ryan

He talks dirty to me, but I don’t know his name.

He wants to tie me up, but I don’t know his face.

He turns me on, but I couldn’t point him out in a crowd.

I’ve fallen for an anonymous stranger, and now the anonymity ends. I want more than typed secrets and texted promises. I want something reckless. Heat. Passion. The thrill of being entirely possessed.

Because I suspect this anonymous stranger isn’t a stranger at all.

Lizzy Thompson met riverrat69 online through a service promising to deliver meaningful relationships by forbidding its users to share names or photos until they’ve reached a certain benchmark. She was looking for love. He was researching an investment. They hit it off. Talked and flirted, hid behind screen names and cartoon avatars.

Now they’re breaking the rules and meeting in person. But Liz is prepared. She’s picked up hints and followed clues. She’s nearly convinced she’s discovered the identity of her dirty-talking online friend.

She wonders if her ex-lover Sam Bradshaw knows her identity too.
When she rolls the dice on one reckless night, her chance at something real could crumble.

Something Reckless is part one of the Reckless & Real series. Part two, Something Real is available now.

**Received in exchange for an honest review**
The first few chapters are Something Wild which I hadn't realized with the prequel. So I got slightly baffled - not that it takes too much.
Lizzy has had a crush on Sam for A LONG time and they've had a few one night stands over the years but through their lives they've both established secrets.
Sam is known for being a philanderer so it's no suprise when Lizzy sees him with another woman. Regardless of the hurt she shuts him out, reminds them both they had no expectations and moves on.
In Something Reckless we're introduced to Riverrat and you have to admit that everything points to Sam... considering that the identity of said person is unknown.
When the plot twists... you agree then that Riverrat must be Connor if it wasn't Sam...
It's not until the last page that your jaw drops when you figure out WHO IT IS!
Which reminds me I need to order Something Real!
My only irritant is that Del can forgive Connor [to an extent] for their mistake but not Lizzy. Sorry hunny. As irritating as it is to say, it takes 2 to tango and you forgive both, or neither.
One of the things I love is that it obvious that Sam and Lizzy are going to sort their issues out, as you expect them too... Well I hope they do. They're still taking baby steps, it's the outside world that's making your jaw drop. Although it involves them, the twists and turns come from others.
