[Review] Thrown By Love by Pamela Aares

Thrown by Love (Book Two in Pamela Aares Heart of the Game series)

A kiss in a dark alcove triggers the greatest challenge of their lives...

Ace pitcher Scotty Donovan has been traded from his longtime team—and hates it. But to his surprise, he now finds himself in the sweetest game of his life: winning the heart of smart, sexy physics professor Chloe McNalley.

Chloe loves teaching, but she's never fit into academia. When she falls for Scotty, she discovers his arms and heart are where she belongs. They share a passion for the game, a fascination for the mysteries of the universe and an increasing love for one another.

Then Chloe inherits Scotty's new team. As player and team owner, they shouldn't be dating. They try to hide their passion, until a blackmailer threatens them personally and professionally. Exposure could be the end of everything--Scotty's career, Chloe's team ownership, and their new love—unless they find a way to transcend the taboo standing between them.

** Book received from author in exchange for an honest review. **

Chapter 2 - I know I'm not that far in to it BUT awwww. I just want to squeeze Scottys cheeks! I love that he just did what he wanted (kissing Chloe) but without being arrogant about it... it's just the sweetest!
Chapter 5 - There aren't many books that have done this to me, but I was crying like a biatch by the end of this chapter and considering I was sat at work having a sneaky read... It's hard to explain a random outburst.
The End - *contented sigh* I don't know what it is about sports men in books, but they instantly make me drool. I thought I loved Alex... but I think I love Scotty more.
You have to hand it to Alex and Chloe, the ride isn't easy or deemed acceptable, but regardless of that, they try not to let that stop them falling in love, regardless of how many times they try and deny it... Love wins out.
Again, I never skipped anything in this book just like in book one which i'll admit on occasions i do that alot because some stories just drag out irrelevant blah but not these.
This book i think is the first to make me cry twice though. Dad knew what he was doing, most dads do!
And I want dibs on G'Maw.... she is amazing :)
Looking forward to starting Fielders choice tonight. I love me a baseball player.
